Dub Terminator

New Zealand based producer Dub Terminator has been dabbling in many electronic genres over the past 15 years he is now becoming widely known for his unique blend of Roots flavour Dubstep & future style reggae. Producing and remixing tracks for Jamaican MC’s from abroad over the past two years has brought big names into his tunes like Reality Chant & Natty King, John Holt, Yellow man, Sizzla, Jim Nastic aka Jim Brown, Rhombus & Rodney P, as well as an army of newly recruited Jamaican MC’s from Jamaica, Europe, Africa, USA & New Zealand.

Dub Terminator released their first album, Soul Island Vol.1, as a digital promo release for radio and DJ’s in mid-2010.

The release of Soul island Vol.1 created a snow ball effect of new collaborations with many new artists from around the globe including more big tunes with Kingston based MC Melloquence.

The Dub Terminator vibes spread even further again with the tune Big up Riddim being picked up for the NZ dub compilation Dub Zealand released in Europe & Australasia in Feb 2011. Big up Riddim wound up at no.1 on the Beatport reggae & dub charts for 2 weeks and stayed in the top 20 for over 3 months.

Dub Terminator has been touring constantly up and down NZ showcasing the sound system set, mashing up the tunes direct from the studio to the stage with a hi-tech Live setup. This has enabled the Dub Terminator to bring his live DigiDub & Dubstep, bass heavy set to the dance floor with a notable crystal clear sound and some of the most heavy and pure Moog bass in the “Land of the long white cloud”.
